Regenerative Therapy
Bone Regeneration | Sinus Augmentation | Ridge Augmentation
We can predictably grow bone and the attachment to your teeth
back after it is lost to periodontal disease.
Regeneration Therapy includes:
Bone Regeneration
This procedure may be necessary to save your teeth after the effects of periodontal disease. We
fold the gum and remove the bacteria and infection. He will then
place membranes, bone grafts that will stimulate the proteins
to help your body heal naturally and regenerate bone.
Sinus Augmentation
Sinus augmentation is the raising the sinus
floor and developing bone for the placement of dental implants
where there may be close proximity to the sinus and not.
Ridge Augmentation
When a tooth is lost, sometimes the gum
and bone where the tooth was shrinks and creates an indention
in the gum. That is because there is not a tooth for the jawbone
to hold in place anymore. Dr.Porras can correct this defect with
ridge augmentation while allowing your smile to look natural again.
What is Periodontal Disease | Periodontal Treatment
Periodontal diseases are bacterial infections of the gums and the bone that surrounds the teeth. They are caused mainly by the accumulation
of bacteria called plaque. If not treated right away, the teeth themselves
can be affected.
Single Tooth Replacement | Multiple Tooth Replacement
Dental implants are a better solution to the problem of missing
teeth. An artificial tooth root is placed into the jaw to hold a
replacement tooth or bridge in place as to provide patient comfort,
function and esthetics.
Intravenous (IV) Conscious Sedation
This is sedative drugs that we directly inject into the vein providing a very effective and safe patient management technique.
Root Coverage | Microsurgery | Interdental Enhancement | Pre-Prosthetic
To help our patient feel and look great, cosmetic periodontal surgery
can be done to cover exposed root surfaces and prevent gum recession.

Maintenance
Non - surgical periodontal treatments are available for patients
with mild to moderately severe forms of periodontal disease. Most
patients in the first two stages and some patients in the third
stage can be treated without surgery.
Growth factor Supplementation
The use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), a concentrated suspension of the growth factors found in platelets is involved in wound healing and as promoters of tissue regeneration.
